Terms and Conditions
Eligibility
1. Promoter
HUNTERhunter (ABN 28 628 178 414), PO Box 329, Hamilton, NSW 2303 · Australia. (“Promoter”).
2. Promotional Period
The competition opens Monday 26 October, 2026 @ 0900 and closes Sunday 22 November, 2026 @ 1700 (“Promotional Period”). Entries received outside this time will not be accepted.
3. Eligibility
a. Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over.
b. The following person(s) are ineligible to enter the competition:
a) employees of;
i. the Promoter, and
ii. the Promoter's related bodies corporate (as that expression is defined in the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth)) and associated agencies, companies, and contractors; or
b) members of the Immediate Families of the employees.
4. How to Enter
This is a Game of Skill. To enter, participants must complete the entry form online www.hunterhunter.com.au. Only one (1) entry per person is permitted unless otherwise stated.
5. Prize
a. The Prize is valid for two (2) people and includes:
i. Return direct flights with Jetstar between Newcastle Airport (NTL) and Hobart (HBA). Each passenger will receive a Starter fare with a Plus bundle.
ii. Premium Covered car parking at Newcastle Airport for the duration of travel.
iii. Accommodation at Citadines Elizabeth Street Pier Hobart.
iv. Pennicott Wilderness Journeys – Bruny Island Cruise for two people.
v. Experience Tasmania – Grand Hobart with Richmond Full Day Tour for two people.
vi. Port Arthur Historic Site – 90-minute Premium Tour and lunch at 1830 Restaurant & Bar for two people.
vii. Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary – Wildlife sanctuary experience for two people.
viii. Restaurant Aloft – Dining experience valued at up to $300.
b. Accommodation at Citadines Elizabeth Street Pier Hobart is not available during the following blackout periods:
i. 24 December 2026 – 4 January 2027: Christmas and Sydney to Hobart period.
ii. 5–8 February 2027: Australian Wooden Boat Festival.
c. The total Prize pool is valued at up to AUD $4,800. Prize values are estimates only.
6. Prize Conditions
a. Travel may be taken at any time during the specified season (27 October, 2026 to 24 April, 2027), subject to blackout periods set by the accommodation provider, as detailed above.
b. The departure airport (Newcastle Airport) cannot be changed.
c. The winner and companion must travel together on all flights and stay in the same accommodation.
d. The Prize is not transferable, refundable, or redeemable for cash.
e. The Prize cannot be transferred to a third party without written approval from Jetstar and Newcastle Airport.
f. Any costs not expressly included in the Prize are the responsibility of the winner, including but not limited to:
i. meals not specified
ii. transport to/from Hobart airport
iii. optional/additional experiences
iv. travel insurance
g. If any component becomes unavailable, the Promoter may substitute a component of equal or greater value.
h. Car hire is not included in the prize. Any car hire arrangements and associated costs are the sole responsibility of the prize winner.
7. Prize - JETSTAR Flights
I. One Flight prize consisting of 2x return airfares on Jetstar Airways (JQ) departing from Newcastle (NTL) and arriving in Hobart (HBA), up to a maximum value per prize of $800 (AUD), as further detailed below (“Flights”).
a. Conditions that apply to the Flights:
i. Flights must be requested by 24/04/2027. The Prize winner and companion must travel together.
ii. For travel before 2 February 2026, each passenger will receive a Starter Plus bundle including; standard seat selection, 7kg carry-on baggage, 20kg checked
baggage and an in-flight meal deal. For travel on or after 2 February 2026, each passenger will receive Priority Carry-on (if available) and a Starter Plus bundle
including; standard seat selection, 20kg checked baggage and an in-flight meal deal.
iii. Flights must be requested via Newcastle Airport and are subject to availability.
iv. Flights will be subject to Jetstar’s conditions of carriage and other conditions may apply.
v. The winner is responsible for their own expenses in relation to any travel required to get to the departure destination or other associated costs with claiming or
using the Prize including but not limited to accommodation, travel insurance, meals, spending money, visas/border entry requirements, ground transfer costs and
any Government/airport levied taxes.
8. Winner Selection & Notification
Eligible entries will be judged by HUNTERhunter based on the creativity and/or merit of the response provided. Judging will take place at 5.00pm at the HUNTERhunter office on Monday 23 November 2026. The entry deemed to be the best response will be selected as the winner and notified following the judging.
9. Unclaimed Prize
If the Prize is not claimed by Monday 30 November, 2026 @ 1700, a redraw will take place immediately. The redraw winner will be notified immediately after the draw has taken place.
10. Verification
Proof of identity and eligibility may be required before the Prize is awarded.
11. Liability
a. Except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter is not responsible for any loss, damage or injury suffered in relation to the Prize or competition.
b. Winners and companions travel at their own risk and must comply with airline and government requirements.
12. Privacy
Personal information will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy. Information may be used for the administration of the competition and prize fulfilment.
13. General
a. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms & Conditions. The Promoter’s decision is final.
b. The prize(s) are not redeemable for cash and is personal to the winner. It cannot be transferred, exchanged, or otherwise dealt with.
