Step inside Lake Macquarie's creative spaces this November
Ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes in an artist's studio? This November, Lake Macquarie's creative community is opening its doors and inviting locals to take a look.
On Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November, Lake Mac Open Studios returns for its seventh year, with 35 working studios opening to the public for a free, self-guided art trail.

Bringing together more than 80 local artists, the two-day event transforms Lake Macquarie into a living gallery, giving visitors the chance to explore the spaces where local artworks come to life.
Rather than admiring finished pieces on a gallery wall, visitors can meet the makers, watch live demonstrations, ask questions and hear the stories behind their work.
With studios scattered across Lake Macquarie, the event offers the perfect excuse to explore different corners of the region while discovering the depth of its creative community.
