Spooktacular evening for the whole family

Fort Scratchley is getting into the Halloween spirit, opening up its underground tunnels for an afternoon and evening of family-friendly scares.

On Saturday, 31 October, Halloween at Fort Scratchley will transform the historic tunnels with spooky displays, themed decorations and plenty to explore across multiple levels.

Entry to the Fort itself is open, but access to the decorated tunnels is ticketed, with sessions running in two-hour blocks from 3pm.

The first session starts at 3pm, with new sessions beginning on the hour through to 7pm. The final session runs for one hour only, with the tunnels closing at 8pm.

Guests can re-enter the tunnels during their allocated session, with numbers limited at any one time to keep things moving comfortably.

Above ground, weather permitting, expect a display of unique vehicles from the Motley Crew Car Club, a Rotary BBQ, Daisy Belle Coffee van, plus drinks, ice creams and snacks from the Fort Scratchley shop.

Families are encouraged to dress up, with lollies handed out as guests leave the tunnels.

Please note the tunnels involve stairs and require reasonable mobility, so they’re not suitable for wheelchairs or walkers. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
