Luxury accommodation, dining and wellness arrive at Saddles Mount White

For anyone who's spent a long lunch at Saddles Mount White and wished they didn't have to leave, your wish is about to come true.

Opening this spring, The Grand Saddles Lodge marks the next chapter for the much-loved Mount White destination, transforming it from one of the Central Coast's favourite dining spots into a complete luxury escape.

The Grand Saddles Lodge

Set among 28 acres of bushland, just under an hour from Sydney and an easy drive from Newcastle, The Grand Saddles Lodge has been designed as a place to slow down, switch off and settle into the surrounding landscape. Whether it's a romantic weekend away, a special celebration or simply an excuse to escape the everyday, every part of the experience has been thoughtfully considered.

The Grand Saddles Lodge

Conceived by entrepreneur John Singleton, the boutique retreat will feature just 20 private villas, each tucked amongst the trees to maximise privacy and connection with nature.

Designed by Michelle Leslie alongside White + Dickson Architects, the interiors draw inspiration from the colours and textures of the surrounding bushland, with sandstone, spotted gum, brass detailing and locally crafted furnishings creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Each villa includes generous living spaces, an open fireplace, private terrace and plunge pool, while guests can also enjoy a communal infinity pool and pool bar overlooking the surrounding bushland.

Food has always been at the heart of Saddles, and The Grand Saddles Lodge continues that tradition with a new restaurant showcasing Australian produce sourced from both land and sea.

The menu will celebrate fresh local seafood, premium organic beef and poultry, alongside produce harvested from the property's own herb and vegetable gardens. A carefully curated wine list featuring Australian and international wines will complete the experience.

As the sun goes down, Ned's offers a completely different mood. The intimate Art Deco-inspired piano bar is designed for classic cocktails, live jazz and unhurried evenings, where guests can settle in with a martini, enjoy a few share plates and let the soundtrack carry them into the night.

For those looking to truly unwind, The Spa at The Grand Saddles Lodge will feature five treatment rooms, traditional and infrared saunas, ice baths and treatments inspired by Australian native botanicals, creating another reason to extend your stay.

While there's every reason to stay within the property, the surrounding region offers plenty to explore. Guests can wander walking trails through the bush, visit nearby oyster farms, discover the Hawkesbury River or let the Lodge team tailor an itinerary showcasing the best of the Central Coast.

The Grand Saddles Lodge joins the existing Saddles Mount White precinct, alongside the acclaimed The Homestead restaurant — recognised by Condé Nast Traveller as one of the World's Most Beautiful Restaurants — as well as The Barn and The Caravan.

Bookings for The Grand Saddles Lodge will open this spring, offering guests a new way to experience one of the Central Coast's most iconic destinations.
